After discussing the parameters of your project during our free consultation, we provide an estimate of the time and costs associated with your relocation or organizational plan. We keep a daily log of our hours and completed tasks which is available for your review at any time. Our final invoicing is based on the actual hours worked to complete your project in an efficient manner.
The final cost will be impacted by the size of your home and the years of accumulation. We can handle all the details or work in cooperation with your family and friends to reduce the number of billable hours required to complete the project successfully. Our clients can help manage the final cost of our services by their willingness to make decisions quickly and participate in the process of Moving Forward.
moving and packing supplies
Supplies such as contractor garbage bags, packing cartons, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, labels and stickers will be purchased by Moving Forward on your behalf, passing along our favourable, volume discounts. Payment is requested upon presentation of receipts.
In order to reserve time in our calendar, Moving Forward receives a retainer at the time of booking.
In order to keep our business free of unnecessary mark-ups and potential conflict of interest, Moving Forward does not participate in financial arrangements between our clients and a third party. Outside expenses such as trades-people or movers will be competitively quoted and approved by you. Their costs will be billed to you directly, separate and apart from your Moving Forward contract; we do not bundle our services or invoicing with others. We will always be upfront with you about money, searching for the most cost effective support services on your behalf. We will never encourage you to invest in unnecessary services, renovations or modifications.
